AST (Automated System Testing) is a platform-independent, standalone Java application for test automation within the Avaloq Banking System. It facilitates testing of both functional and non-functional aspects across all stages — unit, assembly, integration, system, and acceptance.

Unlike generic test tools, AST uses the officially supported Avaloq Open Interface to process test cases, giving it direct access to order workflows, object management, file processing, messaging (AMI), and even direct SQL queries against the Avaloq database via JDBC.

The test universe is always the whole system — Avaloq core functionality plus your client's parameterisation layer. Every business case Avaloq supports, AST can test.
